Moscow is the capital of the Russian Federation and a city of federal importance. It is the largest city and subject of the Russian Federation. Moscow is located in the central part of the East European Plain. It is part of the Central Federal District. It is bordered by Moscow oblast and Kaluga oblast. Moscow is considered to be the tourist capital of Russia. Some Moscow sights are listed in UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
